FAQ
Questions expats ask before they buy
Straight answers on cost, cover, authorisation and billing, so you know exactly how Alex works before you say a word.
The four we get most
If you only read one thing before you buy a plan, read this. The wording is where policies pass or fail, and it never shows up in the price.
Still stuck after this? Send Alex the question directly. He answers his own messages.
Why is your advice free?
The insurer pays Alex a commission. You pay nothing, and the price is the same whether you go through him or direct. So you get an expert reading the policy for you at no extra cost.
What makes one policy better than another?
The wording. Two policies at the same price can behave completely differently when treatment needs approval. One supports the care you need abroad. The other relies on a clause you did not notice. Alex reads the fine print so you know which one you are actually buying.
What happens if authorisation or billing gets difficult?
Alex helps organise the policy information, medical documents and insurer contacts. He cannot guarantee an insurer decision, but you are not left alone trying to decode the wording from another time zone while you are sick.
How do I know I am getting the best price?
He compares his panel of 10+ A-rated insurers and shows you the options side by side. You see what each one costs, what it covers, and where it falls short, then you pick.

"I thought every plan at my budget was the same. Alex showed me two that read completely differently. One would have left me paying for my son's surgery."
